Anamika Recovery Program Overview
The treatment of alcohol and chemical dependency is a life-long journey. Our treatment program takes a holistic approach enabling individuals to heal and re-build themselves psychologically, physically and spiritually. We understand that alcoholism and drug addiction is a two-fold disease; it is an obsession of the mind combined with an allergy of the body.
The Anamika Recovery Program is for adults over the age of 18 regardless of sex, race, creed, color or national origin. Drugs of addiction treated at the Anamika Center include: alcohol, opiates (heroin, pain pills) sedatives (valium, xanax and barbiturates), stimulants (cocaine, amphetamines), hallucinogens (LSD, PCP) and cannabis (marijuana).
The Anamika Recovery Program is designed to promote recovery for both the chemically dependent person and his or her family. Patients are given the tools they need to develop a new self image, initiate and enjoy positive life changes and stay clean and sober. Families are an integral part of the treatment process. Both patients and families learn appropriate, healthy ways of coping with stress and changing behavior patterns.
Goals of the Anamika Recovery Program

- To provide education regarding the tools needed in the process of recovery
- To provide education regarding the facts of the disease of chemical dependency
